Our musical tastes are eclectic. The title of this melodic piece, My Favorite Things, was written by Rodgers and Hammerstein. Performed here in 1965 by John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, and Jimmy Garrison, it speaks for itself.

No, the tambourine is not green, but you can become your own “one man band” or add to the next jam session with this versatile instrument that doesn’t require years of lessons! Anyone with rhythm can provide their mix of cymbals, tambourine, mahogany wood block, and cow bell. Marked made by the “Boom Bass Company” located in “Cleveland 22 Ohio P.O. Box 872.” In good vintage condition but has a small tear on the surface of the tambourine behind the percussion bar. Google Utube “stump fiddle” or “party fiddle.” This is a similar instrument still played by young and old alike!
